HOW DOES SPEAKSHAKE WORK?
• Come and practise your French, Spanish, English, Chinese Mandarin, and Portuguese, whatever your level. Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to be a polyglot?
• Browse who’s online, view each Speaker’s profile and choose your language partner (or arrange a conversation with a Speaker at a later time or date).
• Converse using our video-conferencing facility intergrated into our app. If you need some help along the way, we have a translator, messaging box and culture cards providing different topics of conversations (we know it can be difficult finding other things to talk about besides the weather). Discuss sport, cooking, celebrities and anything you like really. An added bonus? Learn about another culture at the same time!
• Spend 15 minutes speaking in the language you’d like to practise, and 15 minutes in your mothertongue. We hope you’ll agree that it’s only fair that you give your partner a chance too!
• It can be tough trying to fit in your passion for languages into your busy work/life schedule. At SpeakShake, we’re all about giving you the flexibility of speaking when you want, where you want, with who you want and about what you want.
